usage: compare_update_diff.py [-h] [--filemask FILEMASK] [--log LOG]
                              [--progress PROGRESS] [--no-diff]
                              [--diff-context DIFF_CONTEXT]
                              old_dir new_dir

Recursively compare OLD_DIR and NEW_DIR, and report files that are created,
updated, or deleted in NEW_DIR.

positional arguments:
  old_dir               Old/reference directory tree
  new_dir               New/current directory tree

options:
  -h, --help            show this help message and exit
  --filemask FILEMASK, -m FILEMASK
                        Wildcard mask(s), separated by ";" (default: "*.py")
  --log LOG, -l LOG     Output log file (default: "update.log")
  --progress PROGRESS   Progress display interval in seconds (default: 1.0;
                        use 0 to disable periodic progress)
  --no-diff             Do not output compact diff details
  --diff-context DIFF_CONTEXT
                        Number of unchanged context lines around each diff
                        hunk (default: 2)
